22RE Leaking Fuel Injectors

Just finished re-building my 22RE (88/93 mixed breed) from the crank to the valves. I can't seem to stop my fuel injectors from leaking.

The fuel injectors, while removed were sent out for cleaning and flow calibration, all checked out great, they were returned with all new seals/O rings. After install and start up of the engine the injucters leaked big time from the pressure side (ie the fuel rail).

Pulled off the whole throttle body to replace the O rings and reinstalled. I have now done this two times and am getting ready to do it the third time. I have been putting plenty of lub on all seals during install.

Anybody have any comments???? Insight or what ever....

I'm using a Moly based lub - I'ts the same lub that ARP uses on their studs.

I think the service manual recommends using gas. I know when I replaced my injector seals I used gas to wet them a little and they dropped right in.

Mayo may go good on a cheeseburger but not so much on an injector....
