22RE Head bolt stuck...
I am in the process of doing another 22re headgasket/front cover/timing chain replacement. I pulled the engine last night and began tearing it down. One of the Headbolts (Exhaust side) will not break loose. Any suggestions at all?I wouldnt mind if it broke as long as I could get the head off. Im afraid it will end up rounding the head on the bolt. I have broke one socket already. Usually they break by now. I could have left the engine in the truck and used a break-over bar but I need to replace the clutch assy too and Its my experience that it is alot cleaner to do the job out of the truck vs inside the truck.

it's #8 on the removal diagram, right? (second from the back, exhaust side?)
yeah, common problem. just break the head off somehow, as you'll have the rest of the bolt to put a pipe-wrench on. it'll be time-consuming lifting the head off, but you'll get it.
