Size Is 12x1.25 Very Fine Thredz.... Be Carefull Chasing Them.dont Use A Tap, Id Just Use Some Penetrating Lube Like Pb Blaster (not Wd 40 Cuz It Wont Do Anything But Keep Water Off Of Stuff) I Usually Fill The Hole And Use One Of The Bolts To Go In And Out Very Carefully. If You Feel A Bind Pull It Out And Then Spray Or Suck The Crap Out And Use A Bottle Brush To Scrub It Out And Repeat Untill Satisfied. Just Be Carefull You Dont Leave Anything Down There Or It Could Screw Up The Torque Reading And If Theres Oil Or Any Liquid In It It Will Do The Same....(hydrolock) Once Yur Done A Nice Little Psss.. Of Wd Will Kep It From Runsting If Its Going To Be Out For A While.
WORSED COMES TO WORSE YOU CAN USE A HELI COIL, NOT RECCOMENDED BUT I HAVE USED THEM IN THE PAST AND THEY WORKED JUST FINE, IN FACT THEY STILL WORK FINE..

to clean the threads on these I've used some thick gauge wire like ohh I would hafta guess around 8ga wire, where the copper strands in between we're rather thick, I cut back enough of the insulator and spread out the copper wires, and then kind of chase the threads with that. Add in some PB Blaster or engine degreaser and it'll make them like brandnew. After that run the bolts through the hole and if it feels good, then great! If not keep cleanin.
