22re codes 12 and 27

OK, short history: I burned out my ECU on my 90 22re by using injectors off an '87 without the resistor. Whoops - live and learn.

Anyway, I now have the original 1990 injectors back in it, and an ECU I picked up on eBay. It came off a 91 2wd with an automatic, mine is a 90 with a manual - not sure if the ECU is different? According to the parts numbers that I looked up this one is correct.

However, I now have CEL codes 12 and 27, which both suggest ECU as one option.

Additionally, my starter has begun to be intermittent. May be related, or perhaps not.

What do you guys think? Bad ECU, or did I fry something else?

Are the part numbers between the old and new ECUs the same? Because if they're not, they are different and the codes may be resulting from that. I'm pretty sure there are differences between auto and manual ECUs. I know there are differences between 2WD and 4WD, and between California vs Fed/Canada, of course between 4 cyl and 6, and between some different years (although 90 and 91 are likely the same).

Intermittent starter is usually worn contacts, easily replaced (once you get at the starter - not so easy). There is an access panel in passenger wheel well.
