22R will not idle

I have an 86 truck with the 22R carbed engine. It will not idle. I have kitted the carb, and even put on another carb to try, same problem. Runs good on fast idle, kicks down to idle and just dies. I tried to just speed up the idle, still does not run right. It is running very rich.
Is the idle cut-off solenoid a possibility? It will not click when I apply voltage.
Any other ideas or suggestions to check out?
Thanks for any help!!

those asian carbs have alot of funky stuff on um, did u rebuild the other carb you stuck on it?

its hard to say whats causing it not to idle, it could be your fuel air mixtue, u said it is running rich, it could be your idle valve, or choke, could be a vacume leak, especially if the carb u stuck on it is rebuilt,

Id check all your vacume connections. start pulling hoses and see if there is a difference and once u pull a hose and nothing at all happens that could be your culprit.
