22r Valve cover breather hose replacement?

I've been looking for a replacement since the original one on my 87 22r is hard/cracked/leaking.

Is this a dealer only item? I went to autozone and they couldn't find it for me.
Thanks guys

I purchased quite a few at the my dealer a few years ago.

I never looked else where Although some one might be making them

I like the molded hose because it won`t collapse

I'll call my Toyota dealer in the morning when they open. I know it's just a small elbow but I hope it's not pricey

It took the guy a long time to find it and then he tells me "it's over $20"..... no thanks.
I'll have to find a molded hose that fits. I just wish it wasn't two different sizes.

I could have spent over a $100.00 on those hoses and not really noticed .

When the monthly Statement is over a $ 1000.00 I just look at what I bought not how much every thing was billed at.

It is really not a good idea to be restoring 3 trucks at the same time.

I might have one laying around I will have to look.

Doubtful if there will be anymore 22R series engine projects and all mine have been replaced

I'm not completely sure what a "breather hose" is; is it one of these:

It is the front Hose the rear one is The PCV.

I can see List price to a walk in Customer being $20.00 plus maybe sales tax was even included ??

What makes it a pain is both ends are different diameters .

If not using the factory one you need to get creative to adapt to different hoses sizes

since most people don`t have thousands of dollars of hose and fittings and other stuff not likely to be used in the next 5 incarnations .

two or 3 trips make even a $20.00 plus hose seem worth it.

Every attempt ended up not working for some reason

$8.78 plus whatever (around $7, probably) to ship it to you from Florida?

I've generally found that molded hoses are used for small-radius bends, and unless you want to "swing wide" there's no way to use stock hose. Plus here, with the different sized ends ....

Your time must be worth something more than $15/hour.
