22R Starter Problems
this is probably a simple question, but how can i fix this?
this is an '89 2wd pickup 4speed w/ about 211000 miles now.
lately it's been difficult to get the engine to turn over. the lights will come on, so i'm sure the new battery is fine. but i hear a click when i turn the key.
sometimes the starter will turn it over, but most of the time it doesn't.
from what i hear, these starters don't really go bad themselves, it's their connections that will go bad after time.
any tips on how to replce those would be great because i'm retarded and cannot figure it out.
