I'm about to install a head on a 22r and am cleaning out the egr passages. well the one on the exhaust side seems to go a few inches into the head and just stop? i'm assuming there must be a hole somewhere for exhaust gasses but I can't seem to find it. If anybody can help that would be awesome, would like to get this thing cleaned up properly if possible............i tried searching but couldn't find anything like this......

figured it out. po helicoiled one of the exhaust stud holes so he could use a bolt and apparantley drilled right into the egr passageway, then proceeded to fill about and inch of the passageway with jb weld to isolate it from the bolt hole. cheap way to block off the egr system i suppose..........this project gets more interesting by the hour................
