22R Carb, fuel won't shut off

I just put a new head on the beast, but this problem isn't new. I've noticed for a long time when I go to start it after the motor is warm (maybe sitting 20 minutes or less) when you go to restart the truck it acts like it's flooded.

So today, just to check on things make sure still no leaks or what not since I put a new head on a week or so ago I could hear a hissing.

The damn fuel is just seeping into the carb, you can hear the hissing in the pump and after pulling the airfilter cover off and peering down the intake you can see the fuel vapor and hear it. Also the bowl is full through the sight glass.

I know theres a fuel cut off solenoid somewhere that is suppost to cut the fuel off to the carb when the power or ignition is off. I'm 45 minutes from home out in the boonies right now far from my diagrams and books and this PC is to slow to load up any PDF's =(

I just put a new aftermarket fuel pump on with the new head but this same flooding at startup when the engines warm has been happening for a long time, I just never noticed the hiss before so I didn't think fuel was actually flooding the carb when the motors off.

Ideas? It's an 87 22r non emission style carb (non cali in other words). I've planned to rebuild the thing but havent had the time or money yet and i'm not having enough performance issues to really motivate me to rebuild it. But if you guys could point me to the fuel cut off solenoid, all be appreciated!

the fuel cut solenoid is on the carb.
you may be experiencing heat soak, where the fuel in the lines expands from the heat of the engine so check that all the fuel lines are a fair distance from the hot parts of the engine.
it also possible the return line to the tank from the pump may be plugged or not hooked up right. the pump should have 3 lines- supply from the tank, return to the tank and a vapor/vent line. maybe the return and vapor lines are crossed.
