22r to 22re

Hey guys, was just playing around with some ideas for my pickup, ya know, an SAS, building front/rear bumpers, redoing the interior, stuff like that!!!

Would love all of your opinions on a 22r or 22re.... Was thinking about swapping the intake manifold on my 22r to a 22re fuel injected. Pros and cons to that? Good or bad idea? This is my daily and the thought of a fuel injected than a carb just sounds more efficient. Lemme know what y'all think!

I would suggest a donor vehicle... you'll need the gas tank, wiring and so much more... So much more work to track it all down

I like my carb over the fuel injection its not as finicky.
Fuel injection on a 81-82 block and head would be pretty sweet cause you'd get the best parts of both motors. Idr if its possible to do that or not tho

Efi to carb not worth it carb to efi , worth it If you off-road, not really worth it if you don't
Probably easier to swap the whole motor though
