they should fit. they worked on my 80 (with spacers in rear) and 94 sas before the sas. they fit (stock 16" steel wheels that is). these are the 6 lug 4wd wheels.

I found a set of 16" aluminum rims and tires that I was looking to get for my 1989 XTRA cab. Just wondering if they would clear the front hubs.

The alloy wheels use different lug nuts. DO NOT USE the steel wheel lug nuts with alloy wheels! Otherwise, all the Toyota 4x4 wheels fit almost every single Toyota 4x4.

Not all Toyotas are 6 x 5.5
IFS wheels will not fit SFA axles due to backspacing and will hit the steering arms. Typically you need wheel spacers.
IFS 6 lug to IFS 6 lug typically fits across the years as long as you aren't putting 15s on a Toyota that came with 16s as you'll have caliper issues.
So the short answer is they should, but I'd still test fit
