1. Is coils spring better than shocks. How much is coil springs?

2. How hard is to find a toyota gas that has a plug in it?

Have no clue what the heck you are asking in question 2??
Toyota use gas unless it is a diesel. gas engines use plugs, diesels will use glow plugs...

Coil over shocks are shocks and springs in one unit. Requires a link suspension. Like this one: http://www.trail-gear.com/trail-link-three

If your talking about springs between the leaf and the truck, search "Zuk mod"

My papaw is bringing me a toyota gas tank that has a plug in the bottom of it

No matter what kind of spring you have, you're still going to need shocks...

Like a drain plug/bolt? They all have that. If it was leaking and have been plugged, thats a very different story.
