1st gen 4runner-access to heater fan switch
I'm finally getting my 4runner back tonight after two weeks at the mechanic. I want to replace the heater fan switch but am unclear on how the dash disassembles there. I know how the radio trim removes but know I need to go farther.
Can someone tell me how to get to it? Any pics would be a huge help too!

Thanks! I've already replaced the resistor and the fan. Even had a mechanic replace the heater core and evaporator. While they had the dash apart I took all of the duct work and the box and resealed all of the flapper doors.
I have heat but I'm barely getting any airflow out the vents on all four fan speeds. I'm thinking the fan's not getting enough current. I don't know what else there is left to do.

Thanks for all of your help. Problem resolved! Once I pried the heater face off I was able to snake the switch back through the glove box opening and swap it out. The switch I cleaned up definitely had more juice. Additionally, I found out that the heater fan was wired in reverse. Once I fixed that I had dust blowing out all of the vents.
Thanks again!
Thanks again!
