1994 4runner What To Know?

My friend just picked up a 1994 4runner for his wife. I have a 1995 and no it's in and outs. My question is, what to look for in a 94 such as problems, or is it the sane as the 95 issues....................Thanks

If it's the 3VZE pretty much the same stuff. Hopefully all the proper maintenance was done and it's not a rust bucket. I would do the basic tune up stuff and branch from there. I have a 94' SR5 and as of right now my issue is my speed sensor and suspension quarks (ex. my front clunks when I brake) so most likely a control arm bushing.

He tells me that the rear is really sagging, but I did tell him that this was normal for the runners. another problem he has is that the elect. locks do not work as he has to lock oll the doord by hand. any help in this, maby a FUSE?

Rear sagging is a "normal" thing.

Could be a fuse, is the battery in the remote good? Does his alarm work?
