1992 22re stalls please help

my 1992 2wd 5spd 22re with 114000 miles ran like a top until a couple months ago when my brother took it for a ride. the next time i drove it there was a loud squeal when the clutch was pressed and it felt like the clutch was slipping all the way through every gear. i limped it back and forth to work for a couple weeks, until one day it got bogged down and died, fired right back up and drove for a minute then died again. given my brothers track record i assumed it was a transmission issue so i pulled it, and replaced all the clutch components, bearings, and trans front and rear seals/gaskets,because there appeared to be some leakage. i put everything back together and started it, it spewed gas and died so i replaced a section of the fuel line and the fuel filter and now it runs for about 15 seconds then dies. without my truck ive been stranded for 3 months and this guessing game has cost me all the money i had, any help would be immensely appreciated

thanks,

could be a MAF problem, the fuel pump is commanded to run when the MAF sees air flow, when u crank the engine the fuel pump is energized. try this, in the diagnostic port connect a jumper wire between +B and Fp then try and start the engine.

so it ran without stalling , i guess the maf is the culprit, i took the maf apart and three of the prongs, the ones that make contact with the chip with the thin strips of metal that i think serve to protect the prongs, the metal strips were bent out of shape so i bent them back to the best of my ability, and put everything back together but it think the damage was already done. its throwing a 24 and a 31 code
