1991 toyota shifting problem HELP
So I just got done rebuilding my 3.0 v6 and installed a new clutch etc. I dropped the motor back in and hooked it up to my tyranny and everything it started right up and is running great. However, now it's a pain in the ass to shift! I get going and I have to really pull and force into gears. I've even gotten stuck in reverse and had to turn my truck off to get it into neutral again. My clutch is to the floor when I shift too. What's going on? Why isn't it working right now?

When you removed your shifter did you observe the condition of the shifter seat bushings? They tend to disintegrate in place. Perhaps a chunk or two are mechanically interfering with the shifter?

Try bleeding your slave. To me, stuck in gear means the clutch isn't disengaging properly. Clutch to the floor also sounds like the hydraulics need bleeding.
