Hello All I am having a problem determing the problem.This is what I have done. 1. Replaced AFM 2.Replaced EGR 3.Replace all Vaccum Lines 4.Cleaned Throttle Body 5. Compression Check 100-120 psi on all Cyl 6.Adjusted Brass Screw on Throttle Body 7.Replaced Filter 8.Replace Thermostat 9.Replaced Plugs and Wires 10. Replaced the temp sensor 11.Rotor 12. Distributor cap Here is what really bothers me. Once the engine is up to temp and I shut it off, the engine will not stay runnning unless I have keep the pedal depressed. Ok last one Once it is up to temp the engine will rev up and not change gears.

Those compression readings are awfully low. Minimum should be atleast 142psi. Are you sure your readings are correct?

Jamangana, not sure about the engine not staying running thing, but my truck also has problems shifting sometimes.

Mine's a '92 V6 Auto 4x4 and every few weeks or so often in 'Drive' my tranny all of a sudden dumps the gear and revs high. Usually if I stop and put it in 'Park' then back to 'Drive' it works fine again, sometimes i gotta shut off the engine, then restart to 'reset' it.

Also my speedometer needle fluctuates or sometimes doesn't work at all, but Im thinking this is down to a faulty vehicle speed sensor(VSS) that I keep meaning to replace (doesn't affect the driveability of the truck it seems tho...)

Anyone else got any insight on this would be much apprieciated...
