Have a weird ping only when lugged while taking off from a stop, and at about 2500-3500 while on light or real hard throttle. Only at those times. No other rpm.

Heat has upped quite a bit In the past couple days. Been about 100 out the past couple days. And that's when it started. Thinking maybe I have the wrong plugs and the new summer heat they're too high of a heat range? Egr works, new pcv assembly, could this happen from a somewhat weak radiator cap or wrong spark plugs? Cap looks real old. Don't lose any coolant, though. I'm pretty sure it's pre detination ping. Timing chain is new and has metal guides and all.

I have an air fuel mixture gauge and I'm not running lean at all. Timing is set to 5° with the connector jumped when I checked about 5k miles ago. Any ideas? Also what was done before started happening:

Cleaned TB
Cleaned all the vacuum ports
Pcv valve/grommet and hose
Did a satoshi mod on my grille.

Did all this then went and drove and started pinging.

And before I get torched, I've spent the past couple days researching and never found a definate solution.

Checked temp at the rad hose and pump with an ir thermometer when I got home. 189°. So it's not getting too hot? I'm lost. Any help guys?
