1989 dash replace ?

My gray dash is cracked in several spots, how hard are they to replace ? and can you buy aftermarket or is the wrecking yard the best place ?

Ive remove the dash in two 4Runners before to replace the heater cores, one was an 84 and the other was an 86, so your 89 should be about the same. Its not that hard, its just a matter of finding all of the screws and nuts that hold it on, some of them are hidden and can be a bit hard to get to but if you take your time you can do it. Figure on at least 5-6 hours to do it, and about the only place your going to find a replacement dash is the wrecking yard.

89 truck? well, you're going to be stuck with pretty much trucks from 89-95.
They're not that hard to pull, just a little 'involved' considering the screws hidden here and there.
