1989 3.0 sat long time now acceleration issues

Hello everyone im new to the site. I recently got a 1989 extended cab 3.0 and it has sat since 2001!! anyhways i tore the tank out completely cleaned it replaced the fuel pump and changed the oil she started right up. I have now put about 40 miles on it and it has a weird hiccup when you press the gas and will run fine if you dont put a load or demand to much fuel. it wont rev past 4k it just starts sputtering. its a pain to get up to highway speed lugging it under 3k rpm. I dont know much about these efi systems in these 2nd and 3rd gen trucks. any ideas?

Changed the fuel filter? Injectors could be semi clogged.

I just got a fuel filter for it this morning and will do. Im betting your right on the money because it had a half inch of solid varnish in the tank and most like the worst gas i have ever smelled in my lide my driveway gravel still smells 2 weeks later lol. But it slowly has started to run worse so that junk in the lines must be clogging it hopefully.
