Hi all, not sure why these manuals aren't easier to come by, but I was able to find the original scanned doc for 1988 truck & 4runner hosted on a site through the way back machine. The original is just all the scans of the pages blasted into a PDF. Not ideal for navigating and searching.

So, I took the liberty of applying ClearScan OCR and saving out a new text converted file.

The file is a searchable 37mb PDF down from 160mb. It still includes all images and diagrams- the text has just been converted into font text instead of unsearchable bitmap stuff. It looks exactly the same AFAIK (sorry I didn't go through the whole dang thing to check for accuracy of the conversion, it is just shy of 1500 pages)

It's been super helpful to me because now I can just search by page title or keyword. Figured I would share. PM me if you would like me to send it to you
