1988 Toyota Truck Fuel Injection System Removal
I was wondering if anyone out there has ever removed a fuel injection system from one motor and put it on a new motor? My '88 truck just threw a rod and I am replacing the engine and I want to remove the entire fuel injection system (wiring harnesses and all) from the bad motor and just bolt it to the new motor. I can't find any schematics, videos, or instructions for doing this.

basically
a) make sure the new motor is the same type of block / head
if it were me, I would strip the intake and exhaust from the current thrown block
and strip the new block to a long block (head and block and oil pan and TC cover and valve cover and EGR back piece)
Insert long block on motor mounts and re-install, replacing anything thats wonky (and what your budget permits)
