1987 starting problem

My 1987 truck has a 22r in it cleanly rebuilt with maybe 1000 miles on it. It starts perfectly fine at first but if you drive it and it gets hot and you shut it off it will not start again until you let it cool. Any idea on what's wrong

I would suggest looking at your timing and carburetor. Sounds like one of those two settings are off somewhere.
