Uhaul should have one local to you, maybe not the cheapest option, but I have bought hitches from them for other cars and their hitches seem to be good quality. Other than that, you are going to have to order online, Amazon, Rock Auto, eBay probably all have several options.

if you aren't good with a test light and a meter a prewired harness like this i found on is probably your best bet

No I would not splice. What Dropzone was showing you is a unit that uses the factory plugs. It plugs between the taillight and the factory harness. There is no wire cutting or splicing. It's a much neater installation. We have ALL had trouble with the splicing done by previous owners. Don't do it to your rigs old wires if you can help it. I ordered the harness from Amazon and it only takes a couple of days to arrive.

Most problems I find with wiring is trailer lights and stereo's being wired in by splicing. Like Nervo19 mentioned, tons of threads where previous owners made a mess of things. I get my wiring kits from Orielly just because its mile from the house. Other parts stores should be able to get a kit for you as well.
Its PN# 43315.

Ended up getting getting the following:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It's just a 5x8 enclosed trailer, nothing huge, just enough for my R100 and some odds and ends, no more than 2000lbs total.
I'm assuming it bolts onto the same hardware as my bumper.
Thanks again, everyone.

Did you get the Curt 13013 receiver? That's what we got for our 2000 Tacoma and never installed it. I could have sold you mine. We sold the truck. If you live close to Richmond VA cancel your order and I'll give you a discount. After extensive shopping Amazon had the best price on hitches. I have Prime so shipping was free.
edit: I went to the Curt site and you should haveCURT Class 3 Trailer Hitch #13024
Amazon was showing me mine for some reason. Revel in the fact that the MSRP on the Curt site is $457.00!!!!!
