I am new to posting but I have been visiting the site for years and finally got the courage to sign in. I absolutely love this site and everyone attached to it. I started out with a 91 v6 4runner and flipped it trailing with little experience. Needless to say she is gone; however i am STOKED about my new purchase of a 1987 4runner (340,XXX on body- rebuilt 22re) and she is in ship shape. I am going to start here and please feel free to re-direct when needed:

1. Stock exhaust heat shield gone and is melting fresh tune up wires along with a missing top hose temperature sensor I am getting some misfire/backfire and occasional lagging performance.

***Plan to replace with Pacesetter ceramic coated and components to match. Price is my main concern. I see the Temp sensor as $100.00+ is this true?

2. Anyone know the transferrable makes and models specifically for the dash instrument panel. My bulbs are out and plant to replace with LED or even a whole new panel...any out there?

3. I am on the hunt for people parting out their old 87 4runners and transferrable models!

4. I would appreciate any guidance or advice on my future 4runner endeavors. I plan to go camping with my brother next weekend and want to do what I can to make it better before the trip (4 days)

^^^^SOOOO I need some guidance on an on-the-fly roof rack that could hold a canoe up to at least 65mph.

5. Where can i get more of this awesome "red-ish" color (paint, carpet, panels) that the interior has?
