Well, my truck is going to blow the headgasket soon enough, and the water is leaking into the head, and mixing with the oil. (you know that creamy coffee colored stuff) Anyways I am planning on replacing the headgasket, and having the head resurfaced, how long should it take. It is my daily driver, and I need to change my schedule around my truck. Oh, and what else should I do when the head is off?

It depends on how much work you've done like this. If I were working at it consistently, I could have the head off in about 4-6 hours with the little snags that no one ever forsees. Once the head's off, plan on it being at the shop for a day or two (worst case scenario). Reassembly should take you about the same, if not a little less, time as disassembly.
