11k miles !
Hi. Long time.
I was hoping it would not come to this so soon with the rebuilt engine but it looks like I was wrong. I'm gonna have to pull the motor out again.
Long story short, I have a trifecta of fail going on after 11,000 miles.
-Oil pan is starting to leak.
-Coolant on the timing cover is slowly coming out.
-Was told by the shop my head is leaking in the back.
LEAKING!!!!
I'm pissed and I'm sad. Now I hope my friends can squeeze in time to help with rebuild 2.0.
Man, I just had a shop put in new shocks, fixed my idling issue and a new timing switch. Before that another shop replaced the seals in the transfer case.
$$$$$$$$$
So here I am again and this time I want to do it RIGHT!!!!!
I'm on http://www.22reperformance.com/ browsing the kits and the other stuff I should replace.
I pray the other stuff that came in my rebuild kit will not FncK me over in the future.
I'm definitely using OEM head gaskets and FIPG for the oil pan this time!

The rod bolts should be fine since the machine shop did all that work. One thing I am definitely doing is REPLACING THE HEAD BOLTS! Yes. I used the same head bolts.
The only good thing I can think of is replacing some hard to get to things and maybe get the valve cover and intake manifold powder coated.
