1" coil spring spacer?

I replaced my coil springs with Moog variables, and that helped a lot. Still a little low in the back though, and when I put the 33s on it got even more obvious. I think 1" higher would be just about perfect. I found some 1.5" spacers, anyone make 1"?

I think that you will find you need to be slightly higher in the back for it to look "even" due to the different arch in the wheel openings

I would go for the 1.5" always nice to be a little higher in the back for load. But as tc said, it might "look" even because of the wheelwell. I actually measured it once and I think the rear wheelwell is almost 1.5'' lower in the rear anyways. So depending on how you measured it you should be fine with the spacers you got. Good luck! The only way to see if the vehicle sits "level" is to measure, say, the distance from the bottom of the rocker panel (under the door for the newb's) at the front, right behind the front wheel well opening, and then again at the rear, right in front of the rear wheel well opening.

Very interesting. I just measured, and the front and rear rocker panels are within 1/8" of each other. It just looks saggy. Not sure what to do, since it's actually level I'd need new rear shocks if I got a 1.5" spacer, most likely. Might just leave it. Meh.

The reason that it looks saggy, as already mentioned, is because the front wheel wells are cut up higher in the body than the rear wheel wells. The eye tends to follow an imaginary line drawn from the top of the front wheel well to the top of the rear wheel well. Since the top of the front wheel well is higher, it appears that the rear is sitting lower, when it really isn't.
If you put 1 1/2" spacers in the rear you will need longer shocks or else you will lose 1 1/2" of rear axle droop. This is assuming that there is 1 1/2" of extension remaining in the shocks as they sit now, though there should be.

If it's saggin 1.5" and 1.5" spacers make it level, likely the shocks are the right length to begin with. It's the springs muckin with you. The rear springs shrunk, not the shocks.

(wow it was hard not to do that with a scottish brogue)

I'd guess less than 1/8" actually. It's actually dang near perfect, I just don't have a level long enough to confirm. Acording to my little 2" tube its perfect. I was quite surprised.

ah... and then you go under with the aussie accent, mate.

to nevermore1701- if the distance between the upper and lower shock mounts doesn't change, as in your compression / bump stops keep the axle from moving too far up, and the .. well the rear doesn't have droop stops, does it?...
meh... you should be fine.
