v6 3.0 swap

Im looking for information on swapping my 89 4x2 3.0 5 speed truck to a 22re. What would I need, can I use my tranny with a 22re bell housing, and what about wiring and clutch slave and so forth. The only reason I want to do this to this truck is that the body is in good shape with 230,000 miles. thanks if anyone can help

i can help somewhat, you well need an r151 bellhousing (hard to find, better get a 22r-re tranny and t-case) the engine wiring harness, ecu and maybe some of the harness under the dash (im not sure on this)you should be ok with the 3.0 clutch master and slave.

another option would be to go with the 3.4. You could reuse your current transmission.
