I never made a build thread. I planned on doing a complete suspension overhaul as the suspension that was on it was only good to fit the tires. I bought davez long travel suspension but hadn't gotten around to installing it before I sold it. Here is a few more pictures right before it was sold.

That's the same rig I have, bought it off the showroom floor March of 84, owned it ever since. has 112000 miles on it. very little time spent off road. Doesn't seem to be very many still around, people made rock crawlers out of them and tore them up.

1984 XtraCab. 22r/Weber. ARB bullbar+Warn M8000 (adding tomorrow). OME Heavy Suspension Lift w/greasable shackles. Fresh paint, no rust.



Plus my 83 Sunrader with 54k original miles (20k of which my wife and I put on her) in the background, but that's another story for another thread.

Just drove her back 650 miles from atlanta on Friday. So excited to finally have her. My "new" '85 SR5 x-cab. Ill get better pics when the weather clears

some better pics. the fenders and rockers as well as the bed have been line-x'd by the previous owner. very happy with the truck. its got an e-locker in the rear, an aussie locker up front and 4.7 gears in the t-case. I plan to replace some of the faded interior parts, install an inclinometer and dash mat, replace carpet, etc., and possibly down the line a 2" OME lift. Trying to keep this one as close to factory as I can, while still having a capable truck.
