need help with 3rd hand project

so i have a 84 toyota sr5 pickup i got 3rd hand it had a blown head gasket so they decided to rebuild the whole motor i guess it was bad so they were going to just do a swap but the motor they bought to put in had a blown head gasket as well so they bought a 3rd motor as parts well turns out they got most of it done but they put an 85 head on a 84 block so the exhaust ports are different. but i got that taken care of but what i cant seem to find is the piece that goes between the intake ports i have a pic of where it goes but i am not sure what it looks like tho i know it is for the cooling system, but not sure what it looks like.could some one post a pic of what it looks like for me i am sure i have one some where just dont know what i am looking for.

Sorry man I'm 85 and up, have you tried to down load the factory service manual. I dont have the link but they are on here.

Where are you located, I'm at Cherry Point.

85 4runner 22re, 170K, clean and straight. Still working through 20 years of scheduled maint. Future plans, engbldr street RV head, cam and OS valves, engbldr over haul kit, Marlin Crawler trany rebuild kit, T-case rebuild, 2" lift, interior, repaint. Currently 20mpg, Sound great, using 1qt of oil every two days.

here is a pic from the bottom of the 20R head, the same as you have pictured

ya that hose that is coming from between the intake port i went to pick and pull and picked one up today as well as the bolts i needed now all i need to finish it that i can think of is the tail gate latch

ok so i put it on and i am not sure how it connects to the other side of the block to the to the heater core hose also not sure what bolts into this exhaust pipe the comes from the exhaust manifold around the back of the block and stops it has to bolt to something. i will take and post a pic tomorrow
