Wow! Even driving it in the rain should be a crime. I'm not a fan of letting vehicles sit but I think using this 4runner as a Daily driver would be a bad idea also. FWIW I also think it's worth more than 10k but what do I know.

not starting an argument, I say get as much as you can. Im just suprised they sell that high since usually imports like toyota arent that valuable as a collectors item. I think u should wait for the right person to sell it to that u know will take care of it.

i bought my 91 4Runner that was CHERRY too, only it had 38k on it and rolled on 31's, it is now at 182,000kms and the only difference with it now is that the metallic paint has lost its shen, but i am thinking of going all white, to hot down here for a dark metallic green. yours is the best 85 i've seen in such imaculate shape

You have a gem. I skipped to the end of the thread so I don't know what I missed, but I don't think its worth selling. You can't compare it to 1st gen in great shape that has had almost everything replaced and a new engine. Your vehicle is in a class by itself. Its all Toyota. No dicked up wiring or half ass tightened or overtightened bolt. It was made in Japan, and its my belief that its much more stout than a 4runner or Tacoma that you can buy today.
Yes, you can get more options on one now, but what do you really need? My Tacoma is nice, but I have yet to get all the dash rattles out. My 89 1st gen and my 84 are both tight. No rattles.
Anyway, I think if you sold it, you would want it or one like it back someday and that's not going to happen.
Take it from me, I lucked out and found my 84 on here 10 years later, and I was fortunate the the guy that bought it took excellent care of it and did very tasteful mods.
That's my 2 cents

I could never drive that thing, immagine if some drunk hit you, and it got totaled they would cut you a check for $700. Do you have some kind of extra insurance an a rig like that?

Yeah, I know. OLD post. Who is PoBoy? But I have news: it's SOLD! And to all of you who ridiculed me for putting it up here for $13k...I got $15K
I took my website down, so no pics other than the ones attached here.
