My '85 Build...In Progress (pics)

First off this is my third 4runner, I had an 88, and 95...
Finally bought this about a month and a half ago...

Overpaid some might say, I love this body style, so to me it was worth it...

Little back ground on it, The seller was geting deployed to Japan had no place to store it. Seen it in action on the trail in our club... So I Sold my 95 plunked down 4500 dollars and bought it...

As purchased,
4cyl, 5-spd, 5.29 gears, v6 rear axles, 3" rancho springs front, steel brake lines, 35" pro comp tires on 16"x10" WELD RIMS. After-market Shackles front and rear, Rear Lift blocks on stock leafs..(this is the reason I started the re-work and it just kept on going...) All-Pro front bumper, rocksliders, Rear Tube Bumper, Extra set of 35" tires on 15"x8" amercain racing rims. Cobra CB and spooled front... Welded Spooled Rear. Centerforce stage 2 clutch..Lame looking cut fenders he put on..Spooled Front Diff(that is a brutal setup with push pull steering..)

Here is a pic from last October at truckhaven, and one from 2 weeks ago

Made a list of things I wanted to do with it, These are the fixes and mods doing right now..
4 point harnesses in rear for kids..DONE
Oil pump, full tune up, front crank seal, Headers from LCE..DONE
57" rear leafs, Detriot Locker....
Custom built rears to fit front, Spring hanger, 47" long Springs
Custom Shock Hoops
U-bolt flip kit front and rear
Hy-Steer
Wheel spacers
custom drive shaft
Kill Switch

All Work(execpt harnesses) done at Jacks Fab in El Cajon, CA

My Goal was to make a capable rig now.. Think this well be a nice start

Opinions and suggestions welcome...
