information needed on one of a kind decals

This is the 4runner im talking about. full stock. date is march of 86(i know this is in the 85 section) never a paint job and pretty sure these decals came on the side like they are. My dad wants to get the rust fixed and get it repainted and I was wanting the same ones put back on it if i could find it. if you have any idea to where I might can get replicas and if this really is one of a kind. I have only seen one other similar to it and it was on a similar thread.(if you cant see them i can post another of it closer)

Those are most likely a dealer installed or port installed stripe package. Your best bet would be to have someone try to duplicate them, but it will be expensive. I would buy a set from the vendor above that suit your taste.

All i know about him is from here. No actual experience. Sorry if that was a dead end referral.

But that graphic is simple enough to build a graphic template yourself.

Take a photo square on, upload it and outline its edges in msPaint. Then white everything else out with the box tool until you have only the line drawing of the edges. Then take a measurement of the vertical and horizontal for scale, and bring it to the flea market. Down by me, there's a guy at every flea market that does vinyl decals. Calvin pissing on every auto logo ever made, etc. They usually can do custom stickers and should be able to crank that out no problem if you have a simple bitmap file to start with. Try it. Once you get the hang of it, should be easy to design. Give it a shot!

Wait a minute. Does the portion right under your keyhole have diagonal cut lines in between the gradient?

That could be simply 3" or 4" wide gold tape film in several transparency gradients. I've seen stripe installers make a custom graphic simply by layering the gradients diagonally, then straight edge cutting the top and bottom. I can't tell from the pic but the whole thing could be custom done on the truck.

You could have that done if you find a tape striper at your local truck dealer. Some place that does extensive wide film custom designs, like a conversation van dealer, etc.

I swear I've seen that graphic on a Mitsubishi mighty max, but just can't remember clearly.

Cruise the detail bays of your local car dealers, ask around. You may find a guy to do it for cash.

more pics

1) driver side 4x4 close up
2) passenger side 4x4 close up(sorry if its sideways)
3) driver side farther back
you might can see where the stripes get thinner towards the back. You know cameras cant get as good of pictures as the eye can see.
i got a couple more to where its towards the back and around the fender
