Help w/ identifying stock vs. aftermarket suspension part
There is a suspension part above the leaf springs on the driver side that I dont know its name, maybe a drag link, as seen in the picture below. Does anyone know if this part was straight for a stock suspension? Mine is currently 'S' shaped which I believe is aftermarket but not sure. The reason why I am asking is that this part is now hitting my leaf springs after replacing them with stock springs.
If the stock part was straight, is it possible to buy a replacement part? If so, where? If not, is my best bet the junk yard?

It is the steering drag link. Stock is straight, your have a drop drag link since the S shape allows it to "drop" to accommodate lifted suspension. I would search craigslist and junkyards. It is a straight axle part only, so you'd have to look for a truck/4runner from 85 or earlier
