On my old WRX, I had a kill-switch that was wired into the fog-light button. It was also a response to the car being stolen. That and a detachable steering wheel and I figured I was safe from anything short of a flatbed rolling up and carting the thing off.
Install a relay on the main ECU ground and run a switch to it. Hide the switch wherever you want. No ECU, no lost truck. |
