Gas Tank removal / Propane instal

Finally ponied up and bought the propane kit from gotpropane.com (by the way those guys are super nice and very helpful)

My question is...How easy is the gas tank removal/drainage??(i have a full tank of gas) If anyone has done this i'd appreciate some tips. I plan on totally removing the gas tank and lines.

Thanks

1) watching

2) tank removal is easy

-drop the tank skid plate (3 bolts on each side)
-there's a drain plug. get ready to drain
-un-bolt the tank (3 bolts on each side)
-while dropping the tank, disconnect all the lines going to the top
-that's it

Much, much easier if the tank is nearly empty. There should be a drain plug on the bottom, be carefull.

Access the wires on top of the tank through the hole in the floor beneath the seat?

I usually don't bother draining the gas when removing the tank. Always gets everywhere.

Use a floor jack and some straps under the tank across the frame rails and lower it down.

I find it easier to pour the gas out of the fill spout into a canister after its already out of the truck.

No smelling like gas afterwards.
