Front Tow hook bolt specs?
Anyone know what the bolt specs (size, thread, length etc...) for the front tow hook on a 85' 4runner? Mine are both removed and i pick up some replacements but no bolts... any help would be appreciated.

probably M12x1.25??? (fine thread=1.25?) if they are standard, that is what it is on my 99
Grade 8... or 8.8 i think in metric.. they need to be long enough to go through hooks/stuff + about 1/2-3/4 inch or so

Yep, M12x1.25 is the stock size, I carry some of those bolts in lengths of 35mm and 60mm if you can't find any locally. Or another option is to get ahold of a 1/2"x20 threading tap and just retap the threads for a 1/2" fine thread bolt. That is what I did for mine about 10 years ago, as the tow hook kit came w/ 1/2" bolts.
