Front Hub Seals

I'm reassembling my front hubs on my '85 truck, and was wondering if it's necessary to use the paper seals on these, or if I can just use something like Right Stuff sealant on them?? Have searched thru the posts on this forum, and can't find a reference for the front hubs.

Thanks

Red face

I have used a thin coating of silicone on all the front hubs that I reinstall with no problems.

Just don`t go crazy with it and you should be fine.

either or just make sure its sealed so if you do put it in water the water doesn't get in the axle
