Front brakes rebuild for 85 22re Truck

I am going to replace or rebuild my master cylinder
and both front calipers on my 1985 22RE truck
and was wondering if folks here had a favorite source of
parts that worked better than others etc. Hoping to
get good parts at good auto supply store as opposed
to Toyota dealer etc. Any suggestions as to source
and whether it is worth the trouble and savings to try
and rebuild these items instead of replace with "rebuilt"
or "new" items ? I generally do most of my business with
O'Reiley auto parts but so far never any Toyota stuff with them.

Try doing a V6 brake upgrade, you'll be glad you did.

Just did the v6 upgrade when I serviced my front axle. Huge improvement!

I have found that the NAPA folks are a little more knowledgeable and sell higher quality parts than most of the other stores (Autozone, Pepboys).

As far as replacing or rebuilding, I would assume replacing is a little easier but rebuilding (assuming you can get the parts you need) would be cheaper.

the large-diameter dual-stage brake booster out of a first-gen t100, or similar, will make a big difference.
