EFI to carb swap

I know it sounds crazy. I have an 85 sr5 4x4 pickup that the 22r engine grenaded. Well I kept an 89 22r-e engine around when i pulled it out of the wrecked truck. My question is will they interchange I just want to remove the fi stuff and put my carb intake etc on and throw it in the hole is all im gonna have to worry about is the fuel pump plate and came eccentric. Also this intake is complete with fuel rail all connections were just unplugged when engine was removed so if someone is interrested in it and the efi distributor make me an offer on the whole mess it came off a runnin truck with 3600 miles was started regularly until engine was pulled and the pickup was scrapped. so all i have is what is actually attached to the engine or intake.

85 to 95 parts are interchangeable but 85 and up parts wont work on any pre 85 22r

So yes, your 85 carb parts will fit on the 89 EFI motor
