Driver door dome light switch, wiring issue
Hi, since i rebuild my truck last week i made a bit of clean up into the wiring, there was 3x previous alarm system in there as well as few remote starter instals. Dont ask me why.
since then i cant find the original wire that goes to the driver side door switch.
I already have all the FSM one could want. What i want to know is where phisicaly this wire goes to:
-behind the fuse box?
-in front of the fuse box?
-top wiring harness?
??
I believe the wire is RED with a white stripe.
PO just hot wired it to the passenger one with an extra wire so the original one may be absent since a long time...
thanks for any inputs.

never mind, i found it. It runs along the rear of the fuse box, small red wire.
The problem with the PO set-up is that the seat belt warning buzzer has been removed, and part of the circuit for the door (diode isolation) is in this module so by removing it, the driver door switch stop to work, so the PO hot wired the driver door switch to the passenger door swith
Only a small jumper is necessary from into the buzzer module plug to make it work again (if buzzer still out) without routing 8 feet of wire thru the truck.
pff !!
