Bottle Jack Location in Xtracab
My truck is unfortunately missing brackets to secure the bottle jack. From what I have found online and in talking to others, the bottle jack was stored in a bracket that was welded to the xtracab section on the passenger side. However, I have seen one yota with the bottle jack on the driver side secured by a bracket with wing nut on a screw coming out of the cab.
So my question is, where is the bottle jack supposed to be stored? If its on the passenger side, then what is the screw and tab on the driver side for?
Truck recently sold on Ebay with bottle jack secured on driver side with screw sticking out.
Another truck found with bottle jack bracket on the passenger side welded to the floor.
My truck with bracket missing on passenger side.
My truck with screw sticking out and white metal tab protruding out on driver side. What is that for?

Here is an update in case anyone wanted to know. After researching and also checking with the manual, the bottle jack was mounted on the passenger side which was missing from my truck. I purchased one and got it welded as you can see in the picture. Although the manual shows the tool bag on the driver side, it appears very little trucks had that bracket and rod sticking out to secure it. So my assumption is that due to the varying options that were installed on these trucks, some came with a bracket to hold down the tool bag and I guess others didnt have anything to hold the bag in place. I currently dont have a bracket and need make one up as I have not see anything online. The picture shows the bottle jack mount in its correct location and the tool bag on the driver side where you can barely see the bracket and rod from the picture angle.
