Being new to the forum, I own 3 Toyotas, 2 1984's and a 1985. I would like to know what axle ratios were available back then. What type of identification did Toyota use to mark these axles?

They use colored paint on the ends of the pinion gear shafts. You have to remove the driveshaft to see it.

I got it now, didn't know that the link was part of the answer. Appreciate the reply. Don't need an axle or components right now, but might pick up a complete truck locally for parts.
