abalone shell in my shifter knob

I had this done by a guy in Wyoming. www.koolknobs.com
I found this little piece of Abalone while I was diving in a spot near my home and I thought it would be KOOl to have it put in my truck. I think he did a fantastic job.

i thought of a kool one! my marine issue k-bar well one of them would make a pretty cool shift knob. cut the shaft and weld it in there and bingo!

You should see my yard, it's like an Abalone graveyard. Two divers in the family, and over the course of 10 years on the coast, they start to add up. Probably have around 300-400.
