I think you can find a factory 4.88 pretty easy. Like I said earlier, I found 3 in my local Pullapart. I only took 2 of the rear thirds, but it sounds like I shoulda snagged all 3.... Lol.
And I guess I could sell one, but for me to drive 5hrs back to my storage unit for that wouldn't be very cost effective for either of us. I live in Madison, Al now, so let me call around here and see what's available. Give me a couple hours..

Yeah this site is screwing me they are trying to make me pay the return after they said they would because there site doesn't give required info to determine which gears are correct. NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM ROCK AUTO!!theyre cheap but once u they mess up everything messes up

Just got my right gears today now the problem is i have no way to reuse my pinion bearing because i cant get it off so i tried getting o riellys to order it because i need it now and the one they gave me was too small.i think it was the bearing that goes behind the flange not the one that presses all the way on the pinion.the bearing was for an "inner" pinion bearing.now please correct me if im wrong but isnt the inner bearing the one that you press all the way on the pinion?and the outer the one in the back of the chunk near the seal and flange?

Yeah and i ordered the inner bearing and it was way to small so now im trying to save my old one with a bearing seperator because the guys at o riellys dont know jack. This is what they gave me

Five speed 3.0 4runner 4" lift lots of weight with bumpers and more running 33-12.50's. any one disagree with 5.29 gearing not much highway driving mostly just getting to the trail hopefully I can do 60 on the highway if need be with out Erving to high? Thanks

I'm running 33/10.50r15's 22r 5 speed with 4.88's. I'd much rather have 5.29's. 4.88's are good but if you have a 500# trailer behind you then your back to downshifting on hills. But overall I guess the 4.88's are okay. I'm carbed as well and that's a big power difference between you EFI guys.
