Wouldnt it just be easier to swap the cab onto the frame of the runner?
that way you have like 90% less work to do.. and the outcome will be about the same.
plus, you keep the shorter wheelbase.

Im not saying it's a bad project or anything like that..
But by just swapping the cab, you'd be saving yourself a ton of time, and work hours, for the same outcome..

Wouldnt the shorter wheelbase be better though?
I know that the turning radius in my longbed blows a fat one, and on the trail it really sucks to have to do a bunch of mini turns lol

I dont post hardly ever, but I am in the same delima now. I bought a 89 2WD and I am converting ti to 4wd. I did lots of reading and from what I read it is easier to convert the 2wd then it is to SAS a 4wd. I know about the tranny and tcase but other then that is shouldnt be to hard. I am going to run RUF and 63in Chev rear I bought about all I needed for the axle swap from Sky. Do some reading on here and other sites and see. I figure time is cheap and I enjoy this so we'll see how it comes out.

Seems like I read a post earlier in the timeline that stated, "I wanna keep it low, 31s or 33s..." That is awfully high for a low truck... and the tires appear larger than 33s...
Looks great though!!
I know you put on your 35s, but what brand/size is the lift?
