Talking 1st gen 4runner seat fix

Just wanted to share what I found to replace seat cable.
While searching I found a splitter type cable for BMX bikes.
They are on ebay for 8 dollars.
Looks like all you need is crimp or set screw collar for the cable end at the hinge.

Very Good find.
I wish I had found something like this a year ago. I threw out a decent set of 1st Gen 4Runner seats that were in my '81 Trekker because of the cable issue.

Did you swap the set yet to make sure it works?
