Strange Brake Pedal Feeling...
The other day my brake pedal started to do something strange. As I would apply pressure, the pedal would feel like when ABS kicks in, kind of a fast pulsing thing, ya know? I have no idea what this could be.... do YOU?

x2 it could be just warped really warn rotors.. and the only other thing i can think of that it could be is a possible brake line leak or air in the brake lines. check your brake fluid reservoir cap to make sure its on tight with no cracks etc..

Kinked lines can also result in a pulsating effect, and cause rotors to warp. Extreme braking can cause them to warp also through overheating, vented rotors are a good upgrade to prevent overheating.

I'll check the rotors and lines in the next couple of days.... drove it to school this morning and didn't notice anything. Drove it back home just now and felt it a few times.... strange.....

if its the abs and not rotors you most likely have a broken tooth or two on the rear ring gear causing a gap in the speed sensor pickup on top of the diff. happened to me and the abs would make the rrr noise every tire revolution for a split second. pulled abs fuse at the suggestion from wabbit to diagnose the problem. once i pulled fuse the problem went away until i replaced the gears.

its an 83 isn't it? it doesn't have abs does it? ... I thought he was just comparing the feeling to the feeling you get when abs kicks in on a vehicle that is equipped. I could be wrong as I am roughly half the time
