I know you have checked all the wires right? nothing loose not even a ground? Becouse we all know the gauges take a lot less amps than starting the motor. so that leaves us with not getting the right amps to the starting system. question to you is do you have an ohmetter or ammetter

Have somone turn the key for u, and while they are turning the key, give the starter a couple good whacks with a steel pipe or something, does it start?

Check to make sure your battery is putting out enough juice. Lights may come on, but the starter requires more amperage that lighting and other accessories. If the battery is good, check the connection on your starter. Check it's ground and it's feed with a meter. You can jump the starter by putting the ignition to the "on" position and take jumper cables directly to the starter. Attach your ground and tap it with the feed with the positive feed from your battery. It should start it right up if the starter is good.

If those seem to be good then your move on and check your ignition wiring for loose wires and grounds.
